From Bottle to Better: How Eco fabrics are changing the fashion industry.

The sustainable fashion trend is growing as environmental concerns are increasingly top of mind to consumers. Apparel Corporations are aware of the environmental risks and many are taking action to reduce their eco-footprint, but there continues to be disastrous pollution in the industry.

The fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world, just after the oil industry. And the environmental damage is increasing as the industry grows.

With the rise of public awareness, and greater efforts to clean up the environment, new cutting edge technologies in the industry are providing alternatives to harmful chemicals and processes. A newly popular advancement is soucring sustainable fabrics that are derived from eco-friendly resources, such as sustainably grown fiber or recycled materials.

As an innivovater in sustainable sourcing practices, Storm Creek is making great strides to modify wasteful processes and reduce the environmental cost of clothes. By the end of 2021, our entire product line will include recycled components and materials.

Eco-Evolution

We’ve hit a huge milestone in repurposing over 7 million plastic bottles into beautiful styles and we are now focusing on transforming our supplychain and shipping materials into recycled materials. In our quest to create high quality products, we seek out suppliers that measure up to our exact standards for sustainable practices, water conservation, and environmentally safe chemicals.

Ethical Manufacturing

We work with some of the top factories in the world and personally oversee the production process on a semi-annual basis (at minimum). We require all fabric yarn suppliers, as well as the fabric dyeing and fabric setting mills to be either Bluesign® or Oeko-Tex® certified.

These certified mills focus on sustainable practices, water conservation, and environmentally safe chemicals.
