At Storm Creek, our impact stretched beyond the environment. We seek better for our communities, too. We’re committed to giving our 5 millionth dollar to charity by 2030. So far, we’re $2.1 million toward that goal!
2023 Numbers
Our annual giving includes both monetary and in-kind donations. In 2023 we were able to support more than 70 non-profit organizations and community causes—the most ever! Here are some of the numbers:
- $162.9 thousand in cash plus matching donations
- In-kind apparel donations and discounts of $788.9 thousand (18,859 items total)
- Just under $1 million in giving for 2023 alone
- 405 volunteer hours by Storm Creek team members
- 250,000 meals given through Feeding America
Our Partners
Since 2019, Storm Creek has pledged 1% of sales to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment through the organization 1% for the Planet. By being active members of this community, we have the opportunity to contribute financial support to cherished destinations, including the National Park Foundation, Save the Boundary Waters, and other similar initiatives, aligning our efforts with the places our customers hold dear.
Also, since 2019, we’ve been a member of the Minnesota Keystone Program, donating at the 5% level in cash or in-kind products to charitable organizations. The program, previously known as “The Five Percent Club,” has been around for nearly 5 decades and has since transitioned to honoring Minnesota companies that donate at least 2% of their pre-tax earnings. It is the only program of its kind in the nation and now has about 200 members, with less than half of them being 5% donors.
Storm Creek owners Teresa Fudenberg and Doug Jackson created the Storm Creek Community Fund in 2022. This fund is our own effort to aid Minnesota-based non-profits with monetary gifts and apparel donations. Our customers can choose which organization(s) to support through their purchases.

“I am beyond grateful for the donation from Storm Creek this winter. When it was all said and done, they donated 13,262 garments (27 pallets). Moreover, through the Community Fund, Storm Creek empowers its employees to contribute to organizations close to their hearts. Throughout the year, employees are encouraged to seek financial or in-kind clothing support for their charities. In 2023, the Storm Creek Community Fund generously offered each employee the chance to donate $100 to a charity of their choice.

My son, benefiting from a free screening, discovered a condition that required intervention for his safety.
