Proof, Not Promises: Inside Storm Creek’s 2025 Responsibility Report

Proof, Not Promises: Inside Storm Creek’s 2025 Responsibility Report

At Storm Creek, responsibility isn’t a campaign or a checkbox—it’s how we do business, every day. Our 2025 Responsibility Report captures a year of measurable progress, third‑party verification, and real impact across people, product, and planet. Not as a victory lap, but as a checkpoint on a much longer journey.

This year’s report matters because it moves beyond claims and into proof—audited data, recognized certifications, and transparency our customers and partners can trust.

Built on Accountability, Verified by Standards

In 2025, Storm Creek formally earned Certified B Corporation® status, scoring 112.6—placing us among the top-performing retail brands globally. We also achieved EcoVadis Gold, earned bluesign® PRODUCT certification across 75 styles, making Storm Creek the first U.S. based promo supplier to reach this tier.

We also formally committed to the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, making this report our first official Communication on Progress. That means our responsibility efforts aren’t just internal goals—they’re aligned with globally recognized frameworks for human rights, labor, environment, and anti‑corruption.

Designing Better Product–At Scale

Sustainability only matters if it scales. In 2025:

  • 100% of our materials were classified as Responsible Materials
  • 94% of styles were made using recycled materials
  • 11.5 million post‑consumer plastic bottles were recycled
  • We’re on track to recycle 85 million bottles by the end of 2026

These aren’t experimental capsule collections—they’re core products, available at scale, without compromising performance or design.

Responsible Manufacturing, Without Blind Spots

True responsibility reaches beyond materials. In 2025, 100% of Storm Creek’s Tier 1 suppliers were assessed through independent social audits, with every factory either holding a recognized certification or completing third‑party verification. We continue to deepen supplier partnerships with a focus on ethical labor practices, workplace safety, and continuous improvement—not short-term compliance.

At our headquarters, we operate on 100% renewable electricity, and we measure greenhouse gas emissions using GHG Protocol standards to better understand where our environmental footprint is greatest—and where meaningful reductions can have the most impact. We’ve also completed product‑level carbon footprint assessments across major lifecycle stages, including fiber production, fabric manufacturing, dyeing, transportation, packaging, customer care, and end‑of‑life. This level of insight allows us to move with intention, backed by data—not assumptions.

Giving Back Where It Counts

Responsibility also means showing up for communities. In 2025, Storm Creek generated over $548,000 for local and national charities, bringing our total giving to $3.3 million. We’re on pace toward our long-term goal of $5 million donated by 2030—supporting organizations focused on outdoor access, environmental protection, and community wellbeing.

A Report Designed to Be Used

This Responsibility Report wasn’t created to sit on a shelf. It’s designed as a sales and storytelling tool—equipping our partners with real data, verified certifications, and language they can confidently take to their customers.

As CEO Teresa Fudenberg puts it: "these achievements aren’t badges—they’re proof that doing business the right way is possible, and powerful."

Looking Ahead: Progress Without the Spin

This isn’t a finish line. As we move into 2026, our focus is clear: stronger data, deeper supplier collaboration, and continued accountability to standards that can be independently verified. No greenwashing. No shortcuts. Just steady, measurable progress—built into every product we make.
