2022 "Eco Apparel for Life" Catalog is Now Available
Through its sustainable sourcing practices, every product in production is now being made with recycled fabrics and insulation from post-consumer waste such as plastic bottles, sustainable components, and/or is Bluesign® or Oeko-Tex® certified.
“Since we began transitioning our products more than three years ago, we have saved more than 7.5 million plastic bottles from ending up in oceans and landfills, transforming them into fashion-forward styles,” said Storm Creek President Doug Jackson. “We continually strive to make our product better and better. To say we’re an all eco apparel company is an extremely significant milestone for us – and it’s a dream come true for me,” he said.
Storm Creek released its 2022 catalog in October, dubbed “Better Product. Better Planet. Eco apparel for Life.” Each item in the catalog contains a bottle count showing a range of how many recycled bottles are used to make the garments. Specific bottle counts per garment are available on its website.
Jackson continued, “Our focus as seekers of better is a world-first ethos – it’s the heart of who we are as a company. As proud members of 1% for the Planet, we donate a portion of sales annually to support organizations that create positive environmental change.”
As product arrives from factories overseas, there will be mixed stock in some instances during the final transition. Jackson says Storm Creek will be fulfilling older inventory first but encourages customers to contact the sales team for specific information about stock.
Despite supply chain delays that have impacted suppliers throughout the industry, Storm Creek has many styles on-shelf that are deep in inventory and is offering weekly updates to distributors about deep stock. A deep-inventory report is also available on the company’s distributor website.
