After raising over $15,000 for the Special Olympics MN (SOMN) during the #EmbraceTheCold campaign, we realized couldn't get enough of the positive impact they have on our community, so we sought out more opportunities to extend our partnership. Storm Creek is the presenting sponsor of the Unified Sports Area in Victory Village during the 2018 SOMN Summer Games at the University of St. Thomas. We will have Storm Creek volunteers at the Swimming Event on Friday, June 22.
What is Summer Games all about?
Special Olympics Minnesota athletes have been preparing for Summer Games for months, and it’s finally time to show off their skills. Over the course of three days, they’ll compete in sports like track & field, gymnastics, basketball and swimming. They’ll hang out with family and friends, participate in Healthy Athletes, dance the night away after Celebration Ceremonies — and win some shiny medals! - Special Olympics MN
Summer Games is FREE and open to the public!
